Since 1877 Moscone family has been cultivating soils with unique characteristics to obtain healthy grapes of superior quality. Scrupulous care of the vines using only products that respect the biodynamics in our vineyards, long experience and respect of the traditions, are our secrets to achieve elegant wines of exquisite finesse. They own 20 hectares of vineyards, mainly divided into two areas: the smaller in Roero, where grapes grow in this sandy soil, expressing their delicate notes. The biggest in the south of Langhe area of Monforte d’Alba, where the calcareous soil of fossil origin gives the wines elegance, structure and longevity. Their flagship is the vineyard in Bussia hill, among the first 2 areas mentioned Cru of Barolo since 1961. Their Barolo and Barolo Bussia originate from it, wines with enormous aging potential. At the end of 2022 they moved the operational headquarters in La Morra, creating a new, larger and more equipped winery, capable of exploiting the best tools currently available both for the production and for the aging of the wines. Now at the helm of the cellar there are the cousins Sara and Marco Moscone, 4th generation of the family.
